- found in all oceans, but not in polar waters

- eats squid and deepsea fish

- about 7 meters in length
- weighs about 3 tons
- 2 teeth in lower jaw
- white head with either a reddish, tan, light brown, acorn brown, or gray-blue body
- small dorsal fin
- small flippers
Behavior
- stick in groups of about 2-7 animals
- occasional breaching has been seen
