  • 8.7-9.8 meters in length
  • 2 teeth in lower jaw
  • brown to gray in color

  • big head

Behavior

  • stick in groups of 4-10 animals

  • vulnerable since 1976

Longevity

  • about 30-40 years

  • once whaled-mainly in Greenland and Norway
